2011 – 2012 – Open Mind Society, “International Pool of Trainers”, project № BG11/A4.3/2007/R2 – department of European Youth programs and Initiatives, Ministry of Education, Sofia, Bulgaria.
Results:
- participated in an international seminar on European Youth Leadership;
2003 – 2004 – participated in the Youth Canadian Professionals Program at the Atlantic Council of Canada, sponsored by Department of Foreign Affairs Canada.
Results: 
- prepared a paper on: „Strategies for minority integration in the Bulgarian public sector”, Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, Sofia;
- drafted a project proposal and provided financing for the “Atlantic values and civil society building in Afghanistan: Catalysts for enhanced security in the region,” Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, Sofia;  
- participated in the establishment of a “Bulgarian-U.S. Action committee” on economic investment opportunities, Atlantic Club of Bulgaria, Sofia;
- drafted a paper: „Strategic economic partnership between Bulgaria and Canada,” The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sofia, Bulgaria.
2002 – 2004 – “Investment strategies in the new economy,” Department of Business Administration, Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, Canada – project funded by the National Research Council of Canada.
Results:
- drafted a paper: „Investment strategies in the new economy: A closer look at prescriptive models through the lens of descriptive decision-making theories”;
- received a Ph.D. scholarship in Business Administration;   
1997 – international supervisor of the municipal elections in Sanski Most, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe;
Results:
- supervised the election process in Sanski Most;
- participated in a democratic elections training;
- participated in a civil defense training at the Canadian military base “Maple Leave”, Sanki Most, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
